Young Eagles Build and Fly
This event is open to all youth ages 10-17 interested in aviation.
Monday, June 8 thru Friday, June 12 will be building sessions of a radio-controlled SIG LT-40 basic trainer model aircraft. On Saturday, June 13, students will fly the built model and will receive introductory flight training and the opportunity to fly other trainers at the HOTMAC flying facility.
The building sessions will held in the EAA 59 hangar located at the McGregor Executive Airport, 27474 US Hwy 84, McGregor, TX 76657.
The flight training and flying sessions will be held at Max Blose Field, the flying facility of the Heart of Texas Miniature Aircraft Club (hotmac.org), 3400 Over Flow Road, Waco, Texas 76712
