HOTMAC is an IRS approved 501(c)3 public charity. We support the local community through several educational and charitable activities.
- Donates use of a 40-acre flying site for the SERTOMA Kite Fest. This annual event typically draws several hundred people to enjoy kite flying and other activities. It is the main fundraiser for SERTOMA which supports hearing impaired individuals.
- Provides an annual scholarship to the TSTC Foundation for students pursuing Aviation Pilot Training degrees.
- Conducts an annual flying event whereby net proceeds are donated to the Waco Veterans One-Stop
- Interacts with programs at local schools and organizations including orientation, education and seminars in model and full scale aviation, aviation careers and aviation related interests.
- Aggregates annual Christmas donations for the Marine Toys for Tots, a recognized 501(c)3 organization.
- Contributions made directly to HOTMAC, a 501(c)3 organization, are tax-deductible according to IRS regulations.
- Please designate your donation to one of the specific causes above as your choice. All undesignated donations may be used for charitable purposes at the discretion of the HOTMAC Board of Directors.
