HOTMAC supports the local community through several activities.

• Donates use of a 40 acre flying site for the SERTOMA Kite Fest.  This annual event typically draws several hundred people to enjoy kite flying and other activities. It is the main fundraiser for SERTOMA which supports hearing impaired individuals.

• Provides an annual scholarship to TSTC - Waco for students pursuing Aviation degrees.

• Interacts with programs at local schools including orientation, education and seminars in model and full scale aviation, aviation careers and aviation related interests.

• Aggregate annual Christmas donations for the Marine Toys for Tots, a recognized 501(c)3 organization.

• Contributions made directly to HOTMAC, a 501(c)4 organization, are not tax-deductible.
